Year of Pleasures: Butterfly on the Inside

I don’t know where this little guy came from, but one morning while washing the dishes I realized that this butterfly was on the wrong side of the glass, flapping it’s wings just a few inches from my face. It stayed still long enough for me to snap some pictures, and then I started to worry about it starving so I used a clean glass to scoot him off the window and carried him outside where I plopped him down on some flowers. I heard that if you touch a butterfly’s wings you ruin them, so as much as I wanted to pet this brave little thing, I managed to restrain myself. I hope he’s guzzling up flower goodness and living a long happy butterfly life.
