After we put all the Christmas decorations away we did a pretty thorough Spring cleaning including renting a Rug Doctor and cleaning all the carpets. Being pet owners and parents of a toddler means we are hard on carpets at the best of times, but white carpet in a rented house means things were looking totally grody.
Bear and I did it over the course of a weekend, me dusting and vacuuming and moving furniture, and him coming in behind me with the Rug Doctor. It was disgusting and awesome to see what came out of the carpet, and now it’s just awesome having a house that doesn’t smelly like the remnants of cat pee.
