2011 Year of Pleasures #13

I am trying so hard to avoid the mom rut in my dressing, but once you pass 30 and aren’t interested in looking like you’re 20, I’m starting to think it might be unavoidable unless I dress in cocktail dresses everywhere I go.

I think these fancy new shoes I got are a great non-rut option that are still not-heels.

I got these from 6pm.com, a tip from my friend Pela Via.

  1. I am so in love with Tsubos. I usually buy them on eBay and am now up to 4 pair. But I think I might need some like yours, still! For heels you *must* get a pair of Acreas. You will be shocked at how easy they are to wear, and they look fabulous. And I am not a small girl with small feet. So when I find a pair of heels that I think are easy to wear, that means something!
