Better Brushing

When your teeth are made of marshmellows, you need all the help you can get to keep them in one piece. I upgraded to a Sonicare a while ago, but I’ve been lazy about using it. It automatically runs as long as you’re supposed to be brushing your teeth and even beeps when it’s time to move to a new section, but I would more often than not rub it around in half the time and get on with my day.

After a little instruction, NOT a lecture, from my hygienist, which is why I like her, I’ve started paying a little more attention to my brushing and obeying the beeps of the Sonicare. She told me to make sure that I held the brush at an angle to focus on the gumline. I guess I’ve only been worrying about not having noticeable gross stuff and not enough on all the gross stuff lurking beneath.

When I first started using this toothbrush it was a bit much. My gums would bleed, my teeth rattled, but I’m seeing some great results. Especially with gums that now look nicely, healthily, pink.

  1. I have a Sonicare brush and love it! I've used it for a couple of years now and my dental cleanings are so much easier now, and my gums are looking the best they've looked since I reached adulthood. My hygenist and dentist are both pleased with me! LOL!
