This is Simplicity 0493. I normally avoid sewing knits, I have never gotten my serger to love me back and Tim Gunn would totally bust me on my wavy hems, but this green jersey was so soft and such an amazing color that I made an exception.
The pattern is really clear and easy, but the shell underneath was sleeveless, and in my world there’s really not much point to having a t-shirt without sleeves. Luckily, they’re not hard to whip up.
I feel like this super long cardigan trend may be on it’s way out, but I don’t care. Even if I only wear this as pajamas, it will have totally been worth making it.

Love it… the colour is beautiful…. and pah to fashion…. if something suits you and makes you feel good, then wear it. Be a fashion leader not a sheep.
